the_proffessor won £100 on Saturday so she can do a skydive/parachute jump!! the_proffessor says “Although I’m not quite in my dotage, I’m sure I’m not getting any younger (50+ and 60 racing towards me!) So to treat myself would be to take that leap of faith and finally fulfil my ambition. It would be a double treat to not only get the chance to jump from a plane before I get too old, but seeing the shock in the faces of my kids/grandkids would be the icing on the cake!”

“Dear Paddy, I would like your help to drag my mum kicking and screaming into the 90’s (yes I know its the noughties) but slowly does it… She thinks a mouse is something that the neighbours always had.. never her.. and a key board is something you hang your front door key on and any mention of a pc and she thinks the police are coming… so we clubbed together and bought her a computer and its been left up to me to teach her.. so on sunday I thought I would enlist Paddy Bingo to show her it is real and not a game … cos she loves Bingo but can’t get out much.. and I’m sure once she realises she can talk to all the friendly people in the sapphire room she will wonder how she ever managed without it.. oh and the hundred pounds will buy a few mouse traps just incase, and a big bottle of wine for me cos I think I’m gonna need it…!”
