Sharon Osbourne is a celebrated music WAG. She had a successful track record as a music manager and promoter of various rock bands before reaching celebrity status on the TV reality series about her family, The Osbournes. A powerhouse in her own right, she has often been credited with changing hubby Ozzy Osbourne’s status from heavy metal icon to mainstream celebrity.

Since the start, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s stormy marriage has been filled with violence, alcohol and drug abuse. In 1989, Ozzy was arrested for attempted murder when he tried to strangle Sharon while in a drugged daze. He went into rehab and she didn’t press chargers. If The Osbourne series is anything to go by, they now seem to be leading the average, unconventional, celebrity lifestyle.

Life after The Osbournes

The Osbournes seem to have catapulted Sharon’s image in the public eye. Since the show aired to rave reviews and high audience ratings, she’s become a female icon. In 2006, Sharon Osbourne’s autobiography won Biography of the Year at the British Book Awards. She’s also become a TV regular as a judge on The X Factor and America’s Got Talent alongside other music celebrities, and has hosted her own talk show, The Sharon Osbourne Show.

Sharon Osbourne and Surgery

She’s gone under the knife for both cosmetic and health reasons. Sharon is known for her honest opinion about her cosmetic surgeries and has admitted to spending £300,000 on plastic surgery. Her lap-band surgery was also highly televised.

In 2002, Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer and found that it had spread to her lymph nodes. With successful treatment, she survived despite a 33% survival prognosis.

Sharon’s Intimate Dinner for 120

This WAG knows how to blend business and pleasure! Sharon Osbourne manages her social events with the same gusto with which she manages her husband and her career. In true celebrity style, she splashed out £250,000 for a dinner for friends and family, hiring an exclusive Georgian townhouse in Knightsbridge for the event.
