GQ Winners announced
Last night’s GQ Men of the Year Awards saw rock group Led Zeppelin win an outstanding achievement prize.

Other winners included Killers frontman Brandon Flowers take home a best dressed award, while Primal Scream won the band of the year prize.

William Hill Bingo players may be interested to learn that proceedings were mildly overshadowed by onstage friction between hosts Elton John and Lily Allen.

According to reports, Allen drank wine throughout out the ceremony, which caused Elton John to ask her is she was going to have another drink at one point in the evening.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson scooped the Politician of the Year award, with Chef Gordon Ramsay judged to be the year’s leading entrepreneur.

Among the celebrities who presented awards were Carol Vorderman, Liz Hurley and Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl.

It was recently reported that Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and original drummer John Bonham’s son, Jason have been in the studio working on new material.
