Paris festival threatens to sue Winehouse
Organisers of a Paris music festival are threatening to sue Amy Winehouse after she withdrew from the event just hours before her scheduled performance.

The wayward singer did not attend the Rock En Seine festival on Friday due to an unspecified illness which resulting in her needing to rest.

However, a statement issued by the organisers of the event said they had received "no explanation of the exact reasons for her absence".

"Amy Winehouse should have arrived on the site early Friday evening," the statement read.

"We were told by her agent at 20:00 [local time] that she wasn’t coming."

The Back To Black star was admitted to hospital in June and diagnosed with the early stages of emphysema.

William Hill Bingo players may remember that she gave an erratic performance at Glastonbury festival this summer, where she attempted too punch a fan in the front row.
