Bestival ‘has Winehouse back-up’
The organisers of this year’s Bestival festival have stated that contingency plans are in place should Amy Winehouse be unable to perform.

Following a no-show at a Paris event last week, Rob Da Bank, who is the man behind the Isle of Wight event, stated that they have a "very good back up plan".

It is understood that following her withdrawal from the Paris-based Rock en Seine festival last week French organisers have threatened legal action.

"Regarding Amy, simply, I do not have any more info as of today. I am in contact with her agent and manager and we’ll know what’s happening after the weekend," Da Bank added.

According to reports, Winehouse’s no-show last week was attributed to illness and was unable to make the journey from London to Paris.
